MGC Azalea Festival Parade Mile

We regretfully inform you the MGC Azalea Festival Parade Mile has been cancelled.

North Carolina Governor Roy Copper, in light of the COVID-19 global pandemic, has released new guidelines for mass participation events.  The State of North Carolina is advising the postponement or cancellations of all events with more than 100 people in attendance.  Go Time and the NC Azalea Festival intend to fully cooperate, following the recommendation of the State of North Carolina.  As of this writing, no timeline for the resumption of events for more than 100 participants has been determined. 

Daily Practice of Preventive Actions
We encourage everyone to continue daily practice of preventive actions.

• Stay home when you are sick, except to get medical care.
• Cover your coughs and sneezes with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
• Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
• Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
• Clean frequently touched surfaces and objects daily.
